I'm a NY + NJ licensed acupuncturist, board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Being sick during a 20-year stint in corporate finance led me to acupuncture.
I reversed incurable autoimmune conditions, gastro-intestinal issues, ulcers, seasonal/food allergies, mold exposures and chemical sensitivity. I have also overcome post surgical pain, allergy and sensitivities to medication. All with acupuncture, life style changes and nutrition modification.
Interesting childhood + growing up Chinese pre-exposed me to different possibilities. Eating consciously, acupuncture, herbal formula, cupping + moxabustion are part of daily living. I explored these options when conventional protocol was life-long medication for the diagnosis rendered.
The added bonus of these changes was that, for the first time in 15 years, I walked through Central Park in the middle of Spring, breathing through my nose, my eyes clear, fully appreciating the scent of this urban forest, medication free.
Grateful + curious, I became a Doctor of Acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine while a full-time corporate professional. The curriculum consisted of over 3,000 hours of training in Traditional Chinese Medicine with heavy emphasis on biosciences in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, ortho-neuro evaluation, anatomy, pathophysiology, gynecology, dermatology, and psychology.
Now, what would you choose for your body today?
Have you acknowledged your body's innate healing capacity?
And, how much fun are you having?
Thank you for being you.
